Cosmin is a founding partner at Christopher David Home and a visual artist. Native to Romania, his family moved to Portland, Oregon when he was eight years old, where he has lived ever since.

His paintings are predominantly abstract. His love for art and architecture initially attracted him to painting, and his passion has only grown since his first piece over 8 years ago. He draws inspiration from travels—usually to Europe—and the sights, sounds, materials and lifestyles found in diverse cities and countries of the world. Seeing the layering of colors and patterns, the old and the new, and a blend of styles all fused together fuels his imagination and his work is a reflection of this.

He was afraid to start painting because he was nervous of being awful at it. After finally picking up a paint brush and putting paint to canvas he had so much fun it no longer mattered whether or not he was any good. Everyone starts out as an amateur and progresses from there. His paintings started selling very quickly which fueled his desire for painting. Cosmin truly ascribes to the mantra, that home should be your favorite place in the world and has filled his home with art by various artists. He feels truly humbled to have the opportunity to create art every day.
